| | Is McCain's Short Fuse Cause For Concern? | | John McCain's temper has been well documented for years but I wonder if the extent of it is fully known by some of his most straight-laced supporters. They may be able to accept him calling his Senate colleagues, especially Democrats, by variations of the F-word or S-word but how about calling his wife the C-word? In full view of aides and reporters during a 1992 campaign stop, no less? Perhaps it's just his nature? Regardless of the reason for this famous temper and less than diplomatic way of dealing with others, even his own wife, do we really want someone like this to have his finger on the red button or even access to world leaders who may not be quite as understanding as the members of the media who have chosen to keep this stuff quiet? "Character" is important for the future President as is "Experience"; what about temperament and self-control - do they count as well?
